This Privacy Policy explains how Air Beauty (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses your personal information when you use the Air Beauty mobile application and related services (the “App”). Air Beauty is a salon discovery directory operated by Cassandra Hopper as a sole trader, based in Queensland, Australia. We help you find salons; we do not handle bookings.

We are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Air Beauty is a directory, not a booking platform. We do not take, process, manage, or handle any bookings. When you choose a salon, you are directed to that business’s own external booking system, where the booking is made entirely between you and the salon. We do not charge commission or booking fees. Air Beauty is not a party to, and accepts no liability for, any booking, appointment, payment, cancellation, or service arranged through a salon’s booking system, and we are not responsible for how that salon handles your information once you leave the App.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Account details: your name, email address, and password (or social/third-party sign-in identifiers) when you create an account.

Profile information: any optional details you add, such as location preferences or beauty interests.

Communications: messages, feedback, or support requests you send to us. Information collected automatically

Usage and device data: app interactions, screens viewed, searches, device type, operating system, and approximate location (where you permit it).

Analytics data: aggregated and de-identified statistics about how the App is used, to help us improve features and performance.

Location information

With your permission, we use your location to show nearby salons and same-day availability through the Today Tab. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings; some features may be limited if you do.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and provide the App’s core features.

To help you discover salons and link you to their own external booking systems.

To process subscription payments and manage your membership.

To analyse usage and improve the App, including through advertising and performance measurement.

To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests. To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security, or technical issues.
To comply with our legal obligations.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the App. These providers process certain data on our behalf and have their own privacy practices:

We do not store full payment card details ourselves; these are handled directly by our payment processor. We do not handle bookings: when you select a salon, you leave the App and are taken to that salon’s own external booking system. Any information you enter there is collected by the salon and its booking provider and is governed by their privacy policies, not ours.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it to:

Service providers who help us operate the App (as listed above).

Salons or their external booking platforms — but only where you choose to leave the App and use a salon’s own booking system. We do not pass your booking details to salons ourselves.

Authorities or third parties where required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

A successor entity in the event of a business sale or restructure.

Some of our service providers (including Firebase and analytics or advertising providers) may store or process data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App and meet our legal obligations. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you may:

Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Withdraw consent for optional data collection, such as location or analytics.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information,

please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the App or by other reasonable means, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the latest version.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Air Beauty mobile application and related services (the “App”). The App is operated by Cassandra Hopper as a sole trader, based in Queensland, Australia (“Air Beauty”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms apply to everyone who uses the App, including clients who browse the directory (“Clients”) and businesses listed on it (“Business Members”).

Air Beauty is a directory, not a booking platform. We help Clients discover beauty and wellness businesses and link to those businesses’ own external booking systems. We do not take, process, manage, or handle any bookings, and we are not a party to any appointment, payment, or service arranged between a Client and a business.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Business Members must be authorised to act on behalf of the business they register.

2. The Service We Provide

Air Beauty is a discovery directory for the beauty and wellness sector. We display listings for participating businesses and provide links to each business’s own booking system. We do not charge Clients commission or booking fees to use the directory.

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features of the App at any time. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

3. Terms for Clients

3.1 Directory use only — no responsibility for bookings

When you select a business in the App, you are directed to that business’s own external booking system. Any booking, appointment, payment, deposit, cancellation, rescheduling, or service is arranged solely between you and that business.

Air Beauty is a directory only and is not responsible or liable for any booking or for the services provided by any business. This includes (without limitation) the availability, quality, safety, timing, pricing, or outcome of any service, any cancellation or no-show policy, any deposit or refund, and any conduct of a business or its staff. Any dispute about a booking or service must be resolved directly with the relevant business.

3.2 Accuracy of listings

Listing information is provided by businesses or sourced from public information and may not always be current or accurate. We do not warrant the accuracy of any listing, including pricing, availability, services offered, or qualifications. You should confirm details directly with the business before relying on them.

3.3 Your conduct

You agree to use the App lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it improperly, or use it to harass or harm any business or person.

4. Terms for Business Members

4.1 Eligibility to be listed

To be listed on Air Beauty, you must:

operate within the beauty and wellness space;

hold any qualifications, certifications, registrations, licences, or insurance required to lawfully provide your services; and

be permitted by all applicable laws to offer your services in your location.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you meet and continue to meet these requirements. You warrant that the information you provide about your business, services, and qualifications is true and current.

4.2 Our right to remove listings

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and at any time, to refuse, suspend, edit, or remove any listing — including, without limitation, any business that we consider is not within the beauty and wellness space, is not appropriately qualified, is not legally permitted to offer its services, provides inaccurate or misleading information, or otherwise breaches these Terms. We are not required to give reasons or prior notice for removing a listing.

4.3 Membership term and renewal

Business membership is provided for a fixed term of 12 months from the date your membership begins. At the end of that 12-month period, your membership will expire and you will need to renew it to remain listed on the App. Renewal terms, pricing, and availability may change over time and will be those in effect at the time of renewal.

Membership fees are payable in advance. Except where required by the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law, membership fees are non-refundable, including where a listing is removed for breach of these Terms.

4.4 Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your own booking system and for honouring bookings made through it.

You are responsible for the services you provide and for complying with all laws applicable to your business.

You must keep your listing information accurate and up to date.
You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your business name, logo,

images, and listing details within the App and our marketing for the purpose of operating and promoting the directory.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features or memberships may require payment. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, and you agree to their terms in addition to ours. Where subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those stores’ billing and renewal rules also apply, and you can manage or cancel through your store account.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its content — including the Air Beauty name, branding, design, and software — are owned by or licensed to Air Beauty and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our written permission. Business Members retain ownership of their own content but grant us the licence described in section 4.4.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The App links to third-party services, including businesses’ booking systems. We do not control and are not responsible for those services, their content, or their practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the App or any business listed on it, including as to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit our liability, our liability is limited to

resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Air Beauty is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App, your dealings with any business, or any booking or service arranged through a business’s booking system.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Air Beauty against any claims, losses, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the App, or — in the case of Business Members — your services, your listing information, or your failure to hold required qualifications, licences, or legal permissions.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably consider it necessary to protect the App, other users, or our business. You may stop using the App at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the App or by other reasonable means, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the current version. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to

the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
