Air Beauty is an Australian and New Zealand owned and operated platform, created to simplify the way people discover and book beauty services. Founded by an Australian female entrepreneur now based in Noosa, Queensland, Air Beauty was developed in collaboration with a small New Zealand tech startup of recent graduates, bringing a fresh and modern approach to the beauty industry.

Having grown up on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria and later spending time living and working across Queensland, the founder has always had a strong connection to small business and the beauty space. From humble beginnings owning a beauty & boutique store in a small town of Port Douglas, then a busy cafe near Cairns before moving to Noosa opening a lash and massage boutique - this experience shaped a genuine understanding of both client needs and the challenges faced by independent beauty professionals.

Air Beauty was created in response to a clear gap in the market. Finding beauty appointments had become fragmented, often spread across Facebook groups, recommendations, and marketplace posts. The idea was simple. Create one central place where clients can easily discover, compare, and book trusted beauty services.

The mission is to support self employed professionals, mobile providers, and established salons by increasing visibility, reducing downtime, and making bookings more accessible. At the same time, Air Beauty aims to give clients a seamless, reliable, and time saving experience.

The concept was sparked by a real life moment. After relocating to Far North Queensland, the founder’s mother, who is now part of the Air Beauty team, needed maintenance for her new mid life crisis dreadlocks while visiting Melbourne. Despite searching, it was surprisingly difficult to find the right provider. That experience highlighted the need for a better and more accessible solution.

Air Beauty continues to grow from these humble beginnings, with a focus on simplicity, accessibility, and supporting the people behind the beauty industry.
